The dissertation topic should be applied to the student’s area of work in health care. The
the topic must be agreed upon beforehand with the module leader responsible.
It would be advisable that students where possible discuss the general plan for their research
with their Director of Nursing/Midwifery/Services to ensure a linkage between the proposed
research and the local service priorities. It is also advisable that students view the research
clusters in the School and align their research, where appropriate
